Interactive Workshops for Youth, Schools & Communities

Youth & Community Workshops

Carlin facilitates practical, engaging workshops that help participants build confidence, resilience, healthy habits, and stronger relationships. Each session can be tailored to your group's age, goals, and community context.

Workshop 1

Health & Wellness

Best for: Schools, First Nations communities, and youth organizations

An interactive workshop connecting physical health to mental wellness, helping youth build healthy habits, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.

Carlin draws on his own experience as a professional athlete to show how small, consistent habits — movement, sleep, nutrition, and mindset — build the foundation for long-term wellbeing.

Format: Half-day or full-day, customizable; in-person.

  • Practical habits that support physical and mental wellness
  • Understanding the connection between movement and mood
  • Building confidence through consistent, achievable goals

Workshop 2

Lateral Violence

Best for: Schools, First Nations communities, and youth organizations

A workshop that names and addresses lateral violence — harmful behaviour directed within a community rather than at the real source of harm — and gives youth tools to break the cycle.

Carlin helps participants recognize these patterns in themselves and their peer groups, and builds a path toward mutual support instead of internal conflict.

Format: Half-day or full-day, customizable; in-person.

  • Understanding what lateral violence is and why it happens
  • Recognizing these patterns in everyday peer interactions
  • Building a culture of support instead of internal conflict

Workshop 3

Warrior Spirit

Best for: Schools, First Nations communities, and youth organizations

A workshop built around resilience and inner strength, drawing on Carlin's own journey through adversity as an Indigenous athlete to help youth connect with their own warrior spirit.

Participants explore what it means to carry strength with pride — rooted in culture and identity, not just competition.

Format: Half-day or full-day, customizable; in-person.

  • Connecting personal resilience to cultural identity and pride
  • Reframing adversity as a source of strength, not shame
  • Practical tools for staying grounded under pressure
